I think that part of your problem may be ulcers. I have them and I cannot take any nsaids (ibuprofen, asprin, etc). If I take a drink of alcohol (even Nightquil) I feel like a bomb exploded in my stomach and bend over in pain. To diagnose ulcers, you have to have an upper g i scope-Through your mouth.
Have you ever had a ct scan? You could have hernias, or something on the outside of your colon that is interfering with your digestion.
A final thought- some people have luck taking probiotics or eating activia yogurt every day, not just during flare-ups.
good luck and God bless!
