hi
i am having muscle twitches from last ane and a half year sometime very minor like fasiculations and sometimes a bit strong
ALL MY TEST SHOWS
CT HEAD NORMAL
VDRL NEGATIVE
SR CERULOPLASMIN NORMAL
HIV NEGATIVE
HEP B NEG
HEP C NEG
EMG NORMAL
NCS NORMAL
BUT THE TWITCHES ARE REALLY BOTHERING ME MAKING MY ANXIETY LEVEL A LOT A LOT HIGH CAN ANY BODY HELP ME REGARDING THIS PLEASE ...................................

  • It's possible that it's just benign fasciculations. I've had them on and off for years, twitching in my hands and inside of my feet (sometimes even a charlie horse on my foot muscle). I was glad one day when it happened in front of my naturopath so he knew I wasn't crazy. They come and go.Having said that, with my recent symptoms it may in fact have been part of whatever my issue is (see my post "help diagnose me" below).Sorry I can't give any more help than that, best wishes!

You're obiously exploring it thoroughly medically, which is critical. As a holistic practitioner I can make a couple of suggestions. 1. Magnesium - take a bath in 2 cups Epsom salts and 1 cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) for about 20 min. Wait for 4 days, then repeat. This should be done at least every 6 months, or as frequently as you wish. Magnesium is wonderful for the nervous system, and it also releases stored electro magnetic radiation from the body which can be a cause of your symptoms if you are working a lot on the computer, or other exposure.2. Take omega 3 - Fish oil for men, flax oil for women (2 x 2/day) It's excellent for the nervous system.If you'd like an article I wrote on Espom Salts, or any follow up support.good luck, Karen
