I am concerned about my husband's condition. He went into the ER Sunday with crushing chest pain. Then his bp started dropping. This has been going on for several years. It is getting worse. I know he has copd and I am a nurse and know that shortness of breath and other things go on because I have worked with people with end stage copd but, this is not one of the common symtoms I have ever had dealings with. My concern is possible bleed somewhere in his chest area the doctors are not willing to look. They will not even do a test to check for cancer or anything else. The last time we went to the lung specilaist he walked in and said how have you been since I last saw you. My husband said well I still am having trouble breathing doc. His reply was, sounds like your condition has'nt changed. That was the end to the visit. No blood test no lung funtion or nothing. The dctors now have got me to the point that I want to carry a sprial notebook with me every time I go so I can write the whole visit and as I said i am a nurse. I just want to find out what is going on with him because of the things that have progressed.:(Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
