I am a married person since five years. There is seen Trisomy 20+ (three chromosome at 20 position insted of normally two!) in last abortive case karyotyping. We have to accept three abortion due to this dicease, because in fetus there was no heart beat after three month, and no nodal was seen or developed.
What is trisomy 20+? is it cured?
Doctor suggested both us for karyotyping of couple. we both are A+(blood group).

  • Well, do your research online and discuss it with a great geneticist. You could be looking at a lot of miscarriages. How many do you want to put yourself through? Have your thought of alternatives to birthing? Who carries the gene, you or your husband? If only your husband, can you have a child via sperm donation? Would he accept the child? http://groups.msn.com/Trisomy20SupportGroup/shoebox.msnw
