Well for the last 3 weeks i think, i have been feeling dizzy and brain fogged almost and just some stiffness in the neck and some times little pains in my head but only very often and some pressure behide my right eye(which is the side of infected tooth) and just the other day while sitting down stairs the tips of my fingers started to feel alittle prickly i dont know though could just be from my nerviousness over the dizzy thing since i always think i have something really seriously wrong. i seem to have been having little anxiety attacks that i have been described xanax for. When this started i went to the doc and he gave me this anti infection medicine and it helped but it happened to cause a tooth abcess so i went to the dentist. she said the tooth was infectied pretty bad so she gave me amoxicillien and schelduled me for the next appointment open (freaking july 3). What i just want to know is it possible that the infection in my tooth(might have spread since it has been so long) is causing these symptoms? Also i had my blood tested which came back fine and an MRI not to long ago like 3 months ago so does that really mean anything?

  • I doubt an "anti-infection" med caused an abscessed tooth. Also, you would want an infection cleared up before an extraction (if that what the dentist is going to do) If you are going to have a root canal, I don't know if you have to have the infection cleared up first. What kind of blood work did you have, and what body part was MRI'd?

  • Hey thanks for the reply. I really cant say for sure what kind of blood test it was and the MRI was of my head and neck. What i meant to say about that medicine was that couldn't it have caused the tooth infection to abscess since it was trying to remove it from my body? Also i forgot to add i sometimes have little ringing in my ears in both ears. Thanks again
