I am a 22 year old female, with no history of medical problems (before this, I hadn't been to the doctor since 2002.) It all started the end of May, I had shooting pain up the left side of my neck (it would sometimes make me feel light headed and mess with my heart rhythms.) Over time, it got worse, took over my whole body. Aches and pains in my hands, toes, back, neck area, legs, arms, shoulders and most concerning- my chest both sides. I've also experienced restless legs. It's a migrating throbbing stabbing pain. I've had a full panel of blood tests done everything looks great as well as a urine sample came back fine. I dont have any other symptoms. Within this last year I lost my mom, which has been really tough. Could stress/depression lead to these very real symptoms?

  • hi i am sorry to hear about your mum and i have gone through a simalar experience as this. my mum passed away a few years ago at age 27. i found my whole body went to shock i started to suffer from vertigo where i was dizzy all the time and felt generally unwell and never in my life been ill before i had headaches and pains in arms this was all down to stress and breavement i unfortually got to the point where i worried about everything and ended up on anti depressiants (which i am not saying you should go on them at all!) but i feel whole lot better. i think maybe you should give yourself a nice relaxation time. time out and do something you can enjoy i would if i was you also sit down and talk to someone about your concerns on your health as it might well be stress, but what you dont want is to dwell on it and worry more you will make yourself worse. i am sure you will be just fine x
