I am unsure if this forum is the right place for this question and I should consult a GP but before I do so, I am wondering if anyone knows anything about this:
I have had tonsillitis for about a week, at least I have felt a sharp pain in one of my tonsils, but they haven't been very swollen and the pain has been mild. There were no visible white spots.
Last night, I believe I coughed out two tonsil stones but they were black, when I checked in the mirror in the morning I noticed a small hole in my right tonsil, or (the tissue above it?) The tonsils are still not very swollen and the pain in my right tonsil is almost gone, but the white spots are visible and the hole has appeared as mentioned.
I am wondering if this is normal tonsillitis or perhaps a complication?
