This is not tonsilitis. None of my symptoms remotely reflect tonsilitis, yet nobody has been able to diagnose the problem. I have what feels like swelling in the left side of my throat, like when your glands get swollen when you're coming down with a cold or flu, at times my left tonsil aches, when it doesn't ache on its own I can induce the pain on the tonsil with pressure. I have a chronic inflammation feeling going into my left nostril, through my sinuses up over my eye, into my ear all on my left side and up into the left side of my scalp like a headache. What's really interesting is when I press on my left tonsil I can induce these symptoms and cause the inflamed feeling to radiate through all of the listed areas. No sore throat or anything like that. Had CT scan done and nothing "abnormal" showed up. I can feel the tonsil or whatever it may be "click" or move on the left side when I swallow. Almost like something's caught in there. This has been going on for four years now and I've been to my GP, ENT, Neurologist, Allergist with no diagnosis. I feel like the problem with my tonsil is somehow causing all of these symptoms. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
