I have, at times, unbearable toe pain on the bottom of my big right toe. The pain shoots to the bone at times. It feels like if your toenail was on the bottom of your toe that someone tore it off. Deep under the skin there was a small kindney bean looking shape and color. It looked like a blister but it wasn't bubbled up it was in my toe not on it. Weeks later I noticed that whatever it was "opened up" and there was a circle of loose skin as if there actually was blister and it was late in the healing stage. The pain subsided for awhile. Now my toe is slightly swollen and the pain is in a larger area. It feels like if you squeezed it hard enough something would come out but it is way too painful to attempt. To add to it, now I think my left middle toe is doing the same thing. I wear the same set of three shoes, Dansko's and some big square toed 1/2 size larger than what I wear Josef Seibels that my orthodics fit in..so I know it's not shoe related since I have been wearing these for years. I went to podiatrist once and he didn't know what it was and shot it up with steroids and that worked for about 3-4months. I'm afraid.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
