I have had a very sharp stabbing pain (that comes and goes) in one toe for a number of years now. Feels like a nerve pain. The docs have sent me for xray (twice) which has showed nothing, tried different pain killers (nothing worked).
The pain is so intense when I get it, & only lasts for about 30 seconds, sometimes longer, sometimes several times in the same day, then I can go for days with nothing.
It's driving me mad now, I've tried 3 of the gps in our surgery, none of them have had any new ideas.
Anyone any ideas or suggestions please (the gp did say at one point that I could have the toe cut off...........NO thanks!!!)
