I have been suffering from stroke like effects for 7 years now. Previous doctor thought for sure it was Multiple Sclerosis. I saw a new doctor today and she thought I may have Todd's Paralysis. I have been paralyzed on the right side more than a dozen times. EKG, blood work, MRI's, Spinal fluid, blood tests are all normal. I even went to a psychiatrist consult for Conversion disorder. I am so confused. I do however get severe migraines that can last over a week. I was thought to have hemiplegic migraines however, nothing confirmed it. Could I have finally gotten the correct diagnosis? I have speech impediments, complete paralysis on the right side, wake up exhausted, have terrible tremors, in some cases I have numbness and tingling on one side. I black out for moments, and my husband says that I clench my jaws and violently ***k at night. I have not noticed these. I have had an EEG once, but it did not show anything. However, my doctor said that unless I catch the seizure I may not be showing any effects. Any thoughts? So tired of living this way and being constantly drug tested! I am not on drugs nor have I ever taken any type of drug that has not been prescribed.
I can give more info if needed! THANKS
