dear all,

many years since i have been suffering from severe body pain and fatigue. i consulted some doctors but none did a good diagnosis. recently i visited a gynaecologist due to missed periods for almost 5 months. and the blood test revealed an elevated insulin level and glucose intolerance. meanwhile my periods came as usual and my problem is i feel tired as if to lie whole day on bed. apart from this the body pain is too much that i always apply balm on my back. being in late twenties though i control my diet , my abdomen looks like an old woman of forties maybe due to the fat deposition. also my heartbeat not seems normal and always i feel like i am short of breath.

the doctor i saw gave me metmorphin but i read it has many side effects and can cause liver and kidney damage in the long run. what should i do. what kind of exercise redime would u suggest.? is there any probelm in getting married.? or should i remain single all through my life. my prime concern now is to get rid of the tired ill feeling and bdy pain because i cant concentrae on my work. without doing my work propoerly i cant survive coz there is none to support me. if anyone out there kindly help me please.

man y thanks in advance

rachel.

  • Your symptoms sound like a hypothyroidism. You are too young to feel so old. My daughter has suffered many years with undiagnosed illness too. See an endocrinologist. There is another condition which can cause some of the same symptoms but with a few others. See below. Neither condition should interfere with living a full life with a mate and family. Wishing you health and happiness. Symptoms of hemochromatosis include: chronic fatiguearthritis-like pain in joints, in particular, the middle two fingersloss of libido (sex drive), impotenceearly absence of menstrual periodschanges in skin color, yellowish, bronze, grey, oliveredness in the palmsabdominal painshortness of breathheart arrhythmiadepressionelevated blood sugarHemachromatosis is not easy to diagnose, as it is not revealed in routine blood work so doctors need to request specific tests to diagnose it.

  • :) Hi. I too have alot of body aches and such as you described. Only difference is I am older, 41. I have been to doctors, my gyn and family dr. but no relief. I start to think people think I am a hypochondriac, and I know the pain is real. I ache in my back all the time stiffness, my muscles ache from head to toe, my periods are irregular at times. I am tired ALL THE TIME. Everyone says to exercise, but how do you exercise when you can barely get up off the couch? I know how you are feeling and if I get any answers, I will pass them on to you. Good luck and hope you feel beteter. dear all, many years since i have been suffering from severe body pain and fatigue. i consulted some doctors but none did a good diagnosis. recently i visited a gynaecologist due to missed periods for almost 5 months. and the blood test revealed an elevated insulin level and glucose intolerance. meanwhile my periods came as usual and my problem is i feel tired as if to lie whole day on bed. apart from this the body pain is too much that i always apply balm on my back. being in late twenties though i control my diet , my abdomen looks like an old woman of forties maybe due to the fat deposition. also my heartbeat not seems normal and always i feel like i am short of breath. the doctor i saw gave me metmorphin but i read it has many side effects and can cause liver and kidney damage in the long run. what should i do. what kind of exercise redime would u suggest.? is there any probelm in getting married.? or should i remain single all through my life. my prime concern now is to get rid of the tired ill feeling and bdy pain because i cant concentrae on my work. without doing my work propoerly i cant survive coz there is none to support me. if anyone out there kindly help me please. man y thanks in advance rachel.
