I have had tinnitus for the last three years which was brought on by unknown causes. I have been going to a ENT and he has done nothing except clean my ear out and give me hearing tests, which have shown no decreases in my hearing. I was wondering what could have caused it. The tinnitus is stronger in the right ear.

Thanks for any help

  • Are you a teeth grinder/jaw clencher? If you catch yourself during the day clenching, try to relax your muscles and also try a night guard---self moldable one are available @ local pharmacies. No gum chewing and try a soft diet to decrease muscle use. This is worth a try at least for a week to see if you get some relief---worked for AA personality friend.
