My right foot went numb 10 years ago and it slowly moved up my leg. Then my left foot followed the same path as the right one. Now its in the hands, fingers, and forearms, as well as my face, mouth, and around the eyes. The feelings are, tingly, numbness, and painfull. It is making life unbearable to even want to exist.

  • that's nerve damage starting to happen. Make sure you have been tested for diabetes.. that kind of issue in the feet is common with diabetes. It could also be vitamin B12 deficiency.. that can start out in feet or hands and move upwards.. manifests as tingly and numbness.. and later as pain .. many doctors dont realise that this dont always show up in blood tests as one can have okay blood levels but be deficient in the body tissues. If it is this, leaving it untreated can end up causing permanent damage. Get a blood test for B12 but as i said.. deficiency dont always show up on the tests. If it dont.. trialing B12 (sometimes B12 injections are necessary) is still a good idea. Someone has got an excellent B12 thread in one of the sections on this site.. as so many have B12 issues which have gone undiagnosed.
