I have multiple symptoms such as joint pain, tingling in extremities, and bladder spasms. The bladder issues are the worse, I have had several cystoscopes and there is no infection no IC either. One doc at Cleveland clinic said I had pelvic floor disorder. Went for physical therapy did not help. Just took Lupron shot due to endometriosis, so far no improvement. Will take second shot next week. I had gastro doc check stomach with camera and diagnosed me with gastritis. I have been taking carafate cream for the last six months or so for this.
I have seen multiple doctors, local docs, and drove five hours to Cleveland twice. Some of the meds have helped, but i have never been truly diagnosed. I am truly losing faith in Doctors.

  • My first thought is 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. But, it sounds more like Besnier-Boeck-Schaumann disease. However, with the bladder spams, it sounds like Chemical poisoning. Chemical poisoning is a condition in which the body is exposed to a potentially harmful chemical in an amount that causes symptoms, disease and/or damage to cells, organs and/or body systems. Chemicals that can cause chemical poisoning include toxins and toxicants. Toxicants are chemicals are synthetic or are natural substances that are not produced by a living organism. Toxins and toxicants that cause chemical poisoning come in different forms, including gas, liquids, or solids, and are taken into the body in different ways. Making a diagnosis of chemical poisoning begins with taking a thorough medical history, including symptoms, and completing a physical examination. Tests may include blood tests, which can indicate some types of damage done to the body, such as damage to blood cells. An EKG may be performed to test for cardiac arrhythmias or damage the chemical poisoning has done to the heart.
