Hello, earlier this year I had many symptons for which my GP never gave a diagnosis. From research and consultation with an occupational nurse where I work, I am confident I had some kind of post viral condition. It still lingers.
The tiredness and overall conditions are no where near as intense and seem to be slowly disappearing (5 months from first onset). I do have moments and blocks of days where things deterioate however. I have had ct scans, blood tests and nothing at all has been found. Currently I have tingling feelings around my head and these sometimes spread to limbs with seeming particular prominnce in back of elbows and knee joints.
I am still tired but not in a debilitating sense as I was at the height of the traumas. This last week I have taken a turn for the worse and had to take another week from work to add to the 4 weeks I took earlier this year. A further visit to the doctor last week was fruitless with him insisting (at the suggestion of a neurologists I visited some months back) that I am suffering stress and anxiety. His answer was to take a course of anti depressants that I declined. Any ideas would be welcomed please.
