I recently under went abdominal surgery. I had a partial gastrectomy (they removed half of my stomach). Since the surgery I have pressure in my upper abdomen. The doctors thought it may be heart related but I have passed all the tests. The pressure is constant, at times is more intense. It is not pain, does not keep me awake, it is just with me all day from the time I wake till the time I go to sleep. At times it does interfere with my breathing. I am also short of breath.

  • The chest tightness is due the co2 they pump into you to move around in your body cavity easier. They must not have sucked all the co2 out and the bubbles went up into chest cavity.
