For years Ive has problems with my weight. The only thing that helped was phentermine but that shot my blood pressure up and over time it became less and less effective. I have many of the other symptoms for hypothyroid including weak nails and thin hair though I take a biotin supplement. I suffer from extreme fatigue though I take a multivitamin and and extra B12 supplement. I experience itchiness, sensitivity to cold, and muscle pain and stiffness, and periodic depression and irritability. However, all my tests come back normal. My last was 8 months ago. T4 was 9.4 w/ ref range 4.5-12. T3 was 24% w/ ref range of 23-36%. Free thyroxine index was 2.3 w/ ref range of 1.1-4.4. My metabolic panel also came back w/everything in normal range. I am so tired of being tired. Is there anything else that has these symptoms, other symptoms I should look for or some other test I should have done?

  • Depression can cause many of your symptoms eg more pains, tiredness. Also look into fibromyaligia in case you have that.
