I'm a 22 yo female with the following symptoms- have had thyroid tested which was normal:

I'm constantly cold,
I retain weight despite a mostly healthy diet and exercise,
I have hypoglycemic episodes between meals,
As well as abnormal periods despite being on birth control (very heavy, last about 9 days and it's reluctant to stop after that long- and during them I'm wiped out and just want to sleep- possible anemia?).

I take daily vitamins as well as extra vitamin c to keep the immune system boosted. Have read lots of things about hormones, which I plan to address with my gyn, but just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas.
