I am a 50 year old female. 3 days ago I began getting a large swollen area, golf ball size, on the right side of my throat when I eat. This occurs immediately when I begin to eat and subsides almost immediately, within minutes, when I quit eating. there is very little pain associated with this and the swelling appears to be external as it does not affect my airway. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
