A year ago I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease. It was awful though for the 6 months before I was diagnosed. I was sooo sick and I couldn't get anyone to believe me that I was sick. Doctors kept telling me that I was crazy and that I had severe anxiety. A month before I was diagnosed with Crohns I had a "lump" like feeling in my throat for a month, but it eventually disappeared. I was fine, besides the frequent flare ups that I got from my crohns until this July. All of a sudden it was difficulty to swallow...(mostly my saliva) and my throat feels tight and sometimes hurts and sometimes has a lump like feeling. I am 6 months pregnant, so they keep blaming it on my pregnancy, but I dont think that it has anything to do with the pregnancy. I have been to more doctors that I can even tell you and they all either say acid reflux that will disapear once the baby is born or they say that its allergies. It has been horrible since July 20th and is not getting any better. I am terrified that it is cancer or something serious. Now that I am going to be a mother I want to be healthy so that I can take care of my child and be a good Mom and wife. If anyone has been experiencing these throat symptoms can you please help me. I am desperate for answers. Also they have already tested me for thyroid issues and my thyroid is fine.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
