I have this blister on the back of my throat where my tonsils should be. I had my tonsils taken out 7 years ago. Anyways this blister came up 2 days ago and it doenst hurt really well, it does a little but not much I main can just feel my tounge touching when I swallow and stuff. Also I have quite abit of nasal drainage into my throat. Could this be a cause of the blister? Please give me any info you know on this and what I could do to treat it. Thanks

  • Well if those are you only symptoms, it could be a number of things..-you haven't ate anything hot have you?-any other symptoms that could be relating to strep throat?-any sexual contact with someone who has had herpes? -keratosis pharyngitis? Since you had your tonsils out..-could even be a sign of HIVmy best guess is strep or herpes my best advice... go to a doctor and get a sample of the blister for teesting .

  • I havnet ate anything hot lately. Other symptoms would just be sinus drainage. Can you get strep throat with out your tonsils? My throat isnt sore just the area with the blister. And no sexual contact with anyone with herpes. Been in a faithful marriage for 6 years. The blister is just like a cancor sore you would get like where the lip meets the gum.
