I have very sharp shooting pains in my wrists & palms. The short answer would be CT but I have been tested for that and don't have it. I have flat-out pain in my whole hand(s) sometimes. I have osteoarthritis in my back & feet also. Anyone else with these symptoms & knows what it is?

  • My diet isn't the best; I need to eat more protein. I'm a grazer, nibble when I'm hungry. I forgot to mention that I have elevated parathyroid hormone and normal calcium levels, which points to low Vitamin D absorption. As it happens, my Vitamin D is almost nil. I evidently don't metabolize it well, so have been on a Calcitrol (a prescription form of Vitamin D) that thus far hasn't done much, although the dosage has just been doubled, so maybe that will help.

  • You may have a pinched nerve in your lower neck or upper back where you spinal cord is....I suffer from that pain also and went to PT for a while. They really helped me, but couldn't afford to keep going.Try and excercise to keep your muscles limber.
