Things look different - what is happening?

Recently, familar things such as surroundings have looked different. Colours have appeared more vivid and shapes seem to be more defined. Surroundings look like I am seeing them for the first time and spaces and perspectives seem and feel either bigger, shorter, closer, further etc. Everything seems strange. A few weeks ago I was slurring my speech and losing my train of thought. Brain and heart scans were done and arteries in neck checked along with blood samples - everything they checked for came back clear. I have high blood pressure (medicated) and in the past have been diagnosed with 'possible mild heart disease - perhaps narrowing of one arterty - but they said they weren't sure! They are now putting me down the stress/anxiety route but I'm not convinced. I have had stress in my life years ago but I consider myself as happy and content right now. Do any of the symptoms above sound familar or ring any bells with anyone? Thanks for your help.
