I was operated on for compartment syndrome on both legs within the last two years. The left leg was much worse than the right. unfortunately it took nearly eight and a half years for the diagnosis of compartment syndrome. By the time the operations were complete my back muscles were also damaged due to listing while walking. Now that the operations are complete I find that I have weak thigh muscles. I have gone for test to ensure there was no damage to the muscles. It came out fine and the specialists cannot tell me what is wrong with my thighs. I find it very difficult to climb stairs or carry anything due to the excess strain. Can anyone give me any idea what may be wrong. I also went for vascular tests and they also came out negative. The specialists just tell me that I should not have weakness but can't tell me why.
