I have a bump of scar tissue on the back of my upper thigh from an injury. I've had it for 13 years. the whole area feels hard, numb or tingly. The bump is really unnattractive and I want to get it removed. Does anyone here have experience with something like that? Is surgery to have it removed easy?
Its a really large bump, at least 5 inches long, 3 inches wide and stands out a little under an inch. In my opinion its very noticable.
Would removing this be dangerous? What kind of doctor would do it? Is there any way to get it covered with health insurance?
