I had a bad head cold up north over Christmas. I did not take any antibiotics. When back in florida and the cold cleared up I had this contrant thick mucus drainage down my throat, coughing up clear mucus. This has gone on for three months now. I have had two series of antibiotics prescribed by doctor and two prescription nasal sprays, nothing worked. I have gone thru benadryl, sudafed I have found that musinex twice a day seems to help me sleep at nite and seems to be better when I awaken in the am. As the day progresses it gets worse. If I stop musinex it seems to thicken. could this be allergy and any suggestions on what route to go next.
