They say IBS, but I don't feel that's it.

Please please please help me. About 2 years ago I took up running and lost 15 pounds. I just turned 31, and since June of 07 I started encountering severe stomach cramping and swelling of my stomach. My weight declines from 117 to 119. I went through every medication and nothing helped me. I have never felt worse, and nothing is making it better. They have ran and ran tests on me, but nothing is showing that there is a problem.

I just want to crawl in a hole and ball my eyes out. My stomach will not go flat again, and I never feel good. All I think about is the weight I have gained, and how I use to be 15 pounds thinner, and why is this weight coming on so quickly??? Is it IBS? What could be the problem if they aren't finding anything? I am so down about this.

  • What medications are you on or have been on? Including birth control pills... Supplements, protein powders? Did they check your thyroid? What is your diet like? Have you fasted or crash dieted? High protein diet/low carb? Any changes in bowel movements? Do you get enough fluids and electrolytes? How much salt is in your diet? How much fruits and vegetables? What tests have they done? Antibiotics? Do you use acid blockers, antacids, laxative use, proton pump inhibitor? Where are most of your stomach pains at? Please please please help me.
