Alright, I'm 23 years old, in good health.
Over three weeks ago now, my left knee started acting up. It got worse as time went on. I went to urgent care, and they referred me to the orthopedics. Then I went to the orthopedics, my dr. was a ***k, and I didn't like him. By that time I could barely walk on my leg, and after I left his office I went to the emergency room because I couldn't handle the pain anymore.
The emergency room was the first ones to do an x-ray. They gave me crutches, a knee brace, and some pain meds. That was almost 3 weeks ago. My symptoms haven't improved much. The pain has gone down a little, I think it's contributed to my not using it as much and using the crutches. The swelling on the other hand has gotten worse. I've been to the orthopedics several times now. They finally did an MRI, and the doctor said that there were no major tears, and that if it's still bothersome in 6-8 weeks, (minus two weeks ago for when he said it), to come back and they'll go in with a camera. It feels pretty much the same it did when the pain first started, and this Wednesday it will be a month.
Any ideas on what I should do? I was thinking about getting a second opinion...
