I am here to ask for help regarding my (already) atrophied eye. It has been four years, since I lost it and still from time to time it gets inflamed and becomes red and tender. This happens two or three times in a year. Those times, my doctor tells me to use an eye drop ,a combination of moxifloxacin and dexamethasone.

And after some days or rather weeks the situation tapers down and gets to normal.
So, can any one please tell me that even after the atrophy and loss of vision of my eye , why is this thing happening from time to time?
I would much appreciate the help.
