I am a 28 year old female that had 26 years of healthy living until I had my 2nd daughter and had a "severe post partum hemorrage" a week after having her. About 6 weeks after I had her I started having awful symptoms and would go the emergency room, doctors and nobody was finding anything. I started seeing a new doctor and he checked for several things. They just recently put me on thyroid medication back in January and I have still have the same symptoms. I have lived on nausea medication going on 3 years now since the hemorrage, I have had endoscopy and colonoscopy and those come back normal. When I do eat my stomach hurts so bad. I don't sleep well at night because I have a choking sensation in my throat even when I swallow and breath it feels like something is in my throat so to avoid that sensation I sleep in a recliner every night. My stomach hurts to even touch. I can't think like I used to. I am always tired. I have terrible abdomen pains. I always feel like I am on my period and the doctor burned my endometreosis last year so that is gone. I don't have much of a sex life because I have issues of dryness. My heart skips beats and they had me wear a monitor for several days and that comes back normal. I get weird bruising all over my body and don't recollect how they got there. I get headaches that are awful and they don't last long. I have boughts of diarrhea and constipation so that is never regular. I have noticed my stomach aches get severely worse when I don't have a bowel movement. I am just tired of feeling this way. Does anyone know of where to go in the united states to get help for a doctor to start over or help me? I refuse to die this way and have 2 kids to raise and I cant even enjoy them all the time because I am so sick....any suggestions????

I got missed with a non-fuctioning gallbladder after the birth of my 3rd baby. I went 6 months very sick. Ask for a Hida scan. My ultrasound was normal. I had it out just 4 weeks ago and my digestion is normal however I still have the skipping heartbeats, anxiety, feeling like something is stuck in throat (that comes and goes) and everything else you have mentioned plus major tension headaches..dizziness, ect...I personally think this is caused by hormonal imbalance. I hope I have helped you in some way. I went from dr. to dr. ..for them to only keep saying it was stress...it was from stress but it certainely caused stress and I'm dealing with that now. Also, have your calcium, magnesium and vitamin D levels checked. Good luck to you.

  • do you have burning pain and numbness in your hands and feet too? Are you feeling dizzy? Make sure they check your iron, b-12, Vitamin E levels also. I'm sorry you're so sick. I hope you feel better soon.I also know that if you're not getting adequate thyroid, it can wreak havoc with your body. Have them keep checking it. I'm so sorry for you, because I know what it's like to be sick and not have the docs find anything specific.Hang in there. Also, watch what you're eating and see if there's anything that makes you worse.Alternative therapies may work better than western medicine, if you can't get answers from the docs.

  • Sheehan`s syndrome should be considered.

I went through it and after a year and a half of many doctors visits and er visits, I was finally diagnosed with stage IV cancer of the lung. I don't know what your ailment can be, but I can suggest that you insist that the doctor perform a ct scan or possibly a pet scan. I was always in so much pain that I didn't know if I had stomach problems or breathing problems, everything hurts and doctors insisted that I was too young for any serious medical problems and that was the problem. I had endoscopy and colonoscopys done but that did not find my problem. Had I had a ct scan, my problem may have been found in the early stages.I encourage you to insist with the doctors. If they are not listening, then find a doctor that will listen. Don't start believing that it is all in your head.
