:confused:My 17 Year old daughter has not been getting regular periods. She has not now for 6 months. I took her to her OBGYN who did a pregancy test which was negative. She put her on a hormone to start ovulation. It has not worked. She also suffers from severe migraines & Mood Swings as we speak. How can i do to help her now? Should i take her to an Endocrinologist? Is there any cause for alarm?!

  • When did she first get her period? Have they ALWAYS been irregular? Are they often painful and heavy in flow? How is her diet? Is she overweight? Is she underweight? Does she eat and drink alot of dairy and animal products? Does she eat a lot of sweets and sugared or cafeinated drinks? Does she have any other symptoms? How are her stools? Does she have any history of urinary tract infections or yeast infections? Does she have cold hands and feet? Is she fatigued? Does she exercise, and if so, is it excessive? Is she taking any other medications besides the hormone treatment(and is this bc? if so, what kind?) Sorry for so many questions, but if you could please answer them with as much detail it will help. Best wishesDOM
