Hi Im a 28 year old female, Ive had several symptoms for many months now;

extreme constant thirst
excessive urinating

my GP did a fasting blood test which scored 4.7 and he said this showed I was not diabetic. I got an independent test which scored 6.6 and was told to see GP again, I did and he said it was unlikely. As time went by I still have the same symptoms and some more;

itching (skin and genitals) several episodes of thrush
urine infection
floaters in eyes (had eye test and was prefect)

I know not all of these symptoms are those of diabetes but think there is a good chance I am diabetic.

Also I cannot go 3 hours without a snack or I go hight headed and faint feeling.

Anyone any ideas? Does it look like diabetes or something else?

  • Two things come to mind: 1. Could you be pregnant? If possible, get tested to rule this out. do you have regular periods? Any pms or painful periods? 2. Candida overload can cause UTI's, itchy skin, glucose intolerance, headaches, fatigue. Have you taken any antibiotics in the past year or so? do you crave sugar? Any yeast infections, or IBS symptoms? Gas and bloating after you eat? Any chronic sinus problems or allergies? Please research candida - most docs dismiss this, and Western antifungal treatments are not very effective. Visit www.candidasupport.org or www.wholeapproach.com for information on testing for candida, and treatment options. There are many good cleanses on the market, and often it takes a couple of months to get this under control. Best wishesDOM

  • please visit www.ahummingbirdsguide.com your symptoms are all there and probably several others that you have always "chalked" up to something else...like myself for many years please read entire symptoms page take note of every one you have...no matter how trivial it seems look where I've posted on this site...there you will find others with similar symptoms know that you can have 1 or 100 symptoms with this and still have it Best to you.mommy cat
