Hello out there. Losing my mind and need some help. My neice has sickle cell O-arab(a rare type) and normally has pain crisis in her lower back and organs but right now she has swollen tonsils that need to be removed yet doctors are sceptical because of the weather changes where we live and want to wait until the summer so she doesnt miss much school. Anyway about two months ago I took her to Urgent care because tonsils were botherin her and they gave her methalaprednisone and the following morning she woke up with a swollen tongue-she isnt allergic to that the doctors ruled it out. No new foods or medications though so what is the problem and how do i get it to go away asapReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
