Hi- I am a 23 year old female who suffers from a very itchy scalp. Sometimes it itches so bad it bleeds a little bit. About a year ago I noticed a very swollen lymph node in the back of my neck below my "itchy scalp" site. I paniced and went to the doctor the next day. It was not painful, just scary. He checked for other swollen lymph nodes in other areas and didnt find anything. He told me he thought I was fine and sent me on my way. A couple of days later I noticed a few small lymph nodes around the other one. I went back to the doctor....he said I was fine. So, it's been about a year and the lymph nodes have gotten a lot smaller, but I can still feel them. I have to press down kind of hard to feel them though. When my scalp gets really itchy they swell back up. I am a worry wort and can't understand why they won't just go away completely. At one point they were as big as a grape now they are probably they size of a pea. My scalp hasn't really been bothering me, so I am confused on why I can still feel little lumps. Can anyone help me ease my mind?
