My throat is currently sore, hurts to swallow, mild fever, and my left lymph node is very swollen. I have had strep throat two times in the last year (I'm 21 years old and am told it is not that common for someone my age to get strep so easily...), and ever since I had it the first time (approx. one year ago), my lymph node has been swollen on and off. I had the hiccups today (totally unrelated, I know), and when I hiccuped my lymph node hurt. I'm not super concerned, however I am a singer and I don't want to ignore something like this and it become a much bigger problem than just strep throat. Anyone have any suggestions as to what this may be? I know I probably just have strep again but what could cause my lymph node to continue to swell so often? (Maybe once a week I notice it swollen...)

  • If this recurs a lot, get your antibody counts checked , specifically for CVID and IgA deficiency.
