I am a 28 yr old female, was was in great health until about 13 months ago. I've been seeing four different doctors and have yet gotten a solid diagnosis. Please help me if you can...
I've got horrible joint pain in my knees, it keeps me awake at night, and reminds me of those growing pains we all had as kids. My stomach has been a mess for 13 straight months, gassy, abdominal cramping all the time that feels like PMS, pains in my intestines, sometimes burning. Often bloating. Stools have been pretty much normal, but soft most of the time.
I've got swollen lymph nodes in my neck, quite severe on the right side on the throat and under the chin. They come and go throughout the day - will be huge and then shrink, but always bothersome.
I'm also not 100% normal in my lady part... Sometimes troublesome discharge, sometimes itching or burning inside. Tests reveal no yeast or bacteria.
Sometimes my breasts tingle and I can express milk if I try. Though I have not breast fed for 2.5 years.
I've also got plaging headaches, that are generally all over, and achy.
I wake up most nights having like a feverish sweat feeling...Although I'm not actually sweating or wet, I just feel really hot all over - it usually subsides in a couple of mins.
Not sure if it's related, but I've been having very vivid and odd dreams that usually wake me up. And I'll have around 4 a night.
I've also constantly got sores in my mouth - either pimple like on my tongue, or ulcers on my gums. My eyes have black circles under them, I look as though I've suddenly aged.
Of all my symptoms, its the stomach problems, headache and knee pains that are most prominent and troublesome on a daily basis. The knee pains are horrible and stops me from doing a lot of activities.
I generally feel weak all over, and have lost nearly 10 lbs, mostly muscle. (Which is a lot for me, as I'm only 125lbs at 5'8)
I've been to four doctors, and been tested for celiac, chrons, lypus, arthritus, H. Pylori, HIV, all STDs, my thyroid was fine, my immune system showed it is not functioning correctly. All tests I've done have came back negative. Doctors are writing it off as Chronic Fatigue Sydrome, but I don't think it's right, I think they just can't come up with a right diagnosis. The last Doctor put me on an antidepressant, which I haven't taken yet.
I live a healthy lifestyle and am not stressed at all, up until this came about, I worked out constantly, and now I don't have the strength to do anything.
Please, please send me your thoughts, I'd appreciate any feedback that I can get.
