For 8 wks now, I have had a swollen foot on my right side. It started with pain and the pain moved up my leg. The first MD that I saw sent me to the ER for a sonogram to rule out DVT. I was cleared of that. Then the next MD did some blood work to rule out infection and a rheumatoid factor. I am only 32 years old. After this the Md decided that I must have Parvo. I returned to him 7 weeks later and my leg and foot cont'd to swell. He then decided it could not be Parvo and that I needed a transvaginal ultrasound to see if there might be a cyst causing blockage. He let me know that I have cyst's on my ovaries and that they were not large enough to cause a blockage on the lymphatics and so I must have rheumatoid arthritis. The only problem that I have with this diagnosis is that I have no joint pain. I have lots of pain in my right ovary and even swelling now in my right arm and neck. I have been controlling the swelling with cherry concentrate and calcium/mag but it will not go away completely. Can somebody help me with suggestions of what may be causing the swelling?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
