i've had swollen red fingertips for 1 month just about. it's only on one hand. they are reallyyyy swollen. not my fingers just to make it clear, just the tips. it feels stiff when i bend them and sorta hurts when i put pressure on them. or bend them. there's little red spots on them too.

i went to get them checked out like 3 wks ago. the doctors office never called back.

please tell me whats wrong. :(

  • I'd considered scleroderma, but it should be bilateral.Make sure that your circulation is equal on both sides by checking your radial pulses and getting your blood pressure checked in both arms.

Every winter one of my toe tips gets red and swollen. I was told it was a circulation problem and was suggested to take L-Arginine. A supplement that supports blood flow and vascular function. After taking this supplement, the problem clears up in a day or so. Of course if your on any medications you would need to ask a doctor before taking it.
