My right cervical lymph node is swollen to 2x3 cm and has been for about 3 months, it is not painful. 1 month ago the lymph nodes behind my right ear began to swell and become painful. I went to the doctor and was prescribed a general antibiotic, which caused the lymph nodes behind my ear to normalize and may have shrunk the swollen node in my neck slightly. 2 weeks after finishing the antibiotics the cervical lymph node is beginning to swell slightly, and my neck is very slightly uncomfortable from time to time. I have a tooth which is broken below the gum line. I now sometimes experience a very mild pain in my chest, under my collar bone, on the same side with the swollen lymph node. My face also seems to be slightly swollen. Any ideas on what might be causing this? I am thinking it is an infection resulting from my broken tooth, which i will have extracted once I am able. Thanks in advance.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
