Swollen Ankle, Rash

Well, my dr can't figure out what's going on. I've had a swollen ankle for almost 2 months now. It doesn't really hurt unless I've been extremely active that day. It's swollen mostly on the inner side. I've had x-rays and ultrasounds. I'm not having nausea or anything like that.

The other thing may or may not be related to the anke. I got a sunburn a couple of weeks ago. After a few days of putting lotion on it I developed a rash. I figured it was an allergic reaction to the lotion so I just quit using it. I can't get rid of the rash. I've used benadryl, calomine, etc. etc. and it's just not helping. Am I just not giving it enough time (2 weeks) or could it be related to the ankle problem?

Hope someone has some answer for me.

  • Does it look like little red dots? See petechiae. I think that's the name. Unfortunately there are many diseases with this skin problem.
