I have been having this problem for about 8-9 months now.
I have a tyroid issue and I am on 175mg of sythorid once a day. I did receive a radio ididine treatment for my thyroid.
I have seen two eye specilist. One put me on a 7 day serioid treatment along with a antiboiotic and my problem went away. Within 4 days of not being on serioids my problem was back. My regular Dr. seems to think that it may be throid related or maybe not. One of my throid specilist thinks it is and when I seen his partner she said no because if it was tyroid related the swelling would not go down like I explained.
I am also puffy under the eyes.
My eye lids swell while sleeping. I wake up and they are all puffed up and between my nose and the corner of my eyes I get like water sacks like if you had a burn blister. After being up for a hour or two and using warm compacts on my eyes the swelling appears to go down. I have went thru a complete allergy testing including make-up that I use and all was negiative with the exception of cheap nichel jewery which I do not ware.
I have now developed eczema on my upper eye lids.
