Swelling and Numbness?

Over the past three days, I've been having a problem with swelling and numbness in my arms and legs. Today was the worst. I take ballet and when I put my shoes on it was like they couldn't fit! They were very snug when, usually, they are pretty loose. They do not look very swollen, but I can feel it. It's the same with my hands.
Today I decided to take a nap and after a short time of just laying on my back, my limbs started to go numb. It got to the point where I just couldn't move because they were so tingley and, after, just numb (though not entirely numb).

I can't seem to figure out what could be wrong and the nurses I saw don't know why this is happening. Any thoughts?

  • Your symptoms can be caused by many things, like diabetes, heart diseaase, kidney problems, and others. You need to see a doctor.
