I am trying to find out what may cause this...at times my neck is just clammy. At other times, mainly when I eat, I start to sweat like crazy (it is like a downpour) but only in the neck area.
I have been a diabetic (type 1) for several years however my doctor has not been able to determine that this has anything to do with the sweating. I do not have any problems with kidney, eyes, circulation or heart. The medication (insulin) I take has never caused this and the doctors do not believe insulin would cause this.
I have had a CT scan (thyroid check), seen a neurologist, etc. and no one can determine what is causing this.
Any information is greatly appreciated.
