i went to a Bar be que drank little vodka tasted funny - five hours later had sudden acute vomiting, no nausia or warning, ataxia and stroke like symptoms. little diar which stopped quickly. Hallucinations, had slow heartbeat and low blood pressure. All blood and temperature normal. Diagnosis 'infection'.
Stroke ruled out - hospital stopped vomiting with drugs after five hours
then used drips ( 5 litres) discharged next day still not walking, in a wheelchair. Next five days drank 6 litres of water a day, could not eat, very unsteady. Admitted again with ? encephalitis. Ruled out discharged again. Still drinking five/six litres per day for further week. Lost 8 kilos in 2 weeks.
Does anyone have an answer for this.
