Sudden increase of heart Beats

My heart beats increases suddenly for 3 or 4 seconds and then becomes normal after 2 or 3 seconds what is this.it happens some times not regularly
please help ?what is this?

  • my heart does the same thing and has for years. The most common cause is stress, caffiene consumption, lack of sleep, ect..... I have seen a cardiologist and he told me this is very common and most everyone has it but usually people just don't notice it. I am sure your fine but if it bothers you then have your doc check it out. Many times having your doc let you know all is well helps alot.

  • Thanx,for reply.............our family doctor also said wahtever u told me.But there was feer in me and was planning to check in big hospital...i feer that is there problem of heamoglobin in blood?

  • have you had an EKG? they are right about caffiene, chocolet.pop. what you seem to have is palpations which you may have a little arythmia, which ekg should tell. if it continue they can do stress test and echo. its your body and you live once and need to know. i know i went through this with my son who has wpw.:)
