i had been taking 10mg endocets for about a week and a half after a bad ankle sprain.
i was told that a muscle relaxer would work at 4mg.
i took the muscle relaxer and within an hour and a half of falling asleep, i awoke anxious, unable to catch my breathe, congested beyond any other congestion i've experienced and could not fall back to sleep (possible insomnia?)

it is almost 48 hours later and after laying in bed all day yesterday, i still feel sluggish and warn down, drowsy, midly congested and am overly aware of my heartbeat. i am also still a bit anxious.

any ideas?

  • I wouldn't take the muscle relaxers anymore, those could be side effects, or you could be having some sort of reaction. If your concerned it may be serious, or isn't going away, you could call your doctor's office and ask if you should get an appointment.

  • Your doing it to ureself conciously or not its anxiety. If you let it get to u or panic even more when it happens you will make it worse its best just to learn relaxation techniques and find one that works for you. For me it happens when im almost asleep or asleep driving in bad weather almost at any time really. general worries and concerns may have part in it but for me its the intense fears that lay within even if im not thinking about it or dreaming about it. May want to try Klonipin anti anxiety medication
