I started having chest discomfort two months ago, and the hospital found nothing wrong with my heart. After dismissal and no discomfort three days later, I then began having headaches. CT scan and spinal tap were negative.
Upon advice, I went to a chiropractor. Hours after making two subluxation adjustments, I had fever (up to 101F), chills, tachycardia (85-120 bpm), and high blood pressure (145/105) for 5 days.
All of this is very abnormal, as I am in tip-top shape and mountain bike 3x/week for 10-15 miles at a time (regluar 65 bpm, 110/70 bp, 145 cholesterol).
The headaches have mostly subsided, but now I get the occasional "warm" feeling, like I have a fever, but I'm actually below 98.6F. I also get sporadic "muscle" pains in random spots, areas which usually don't have any trauma or use.
No one in cardiology, neurology or general practice has a clue. The only thing found was a possible elevated Candida infection, but nothing off the charts from previous blood work.
