Strange spots under skin

I cannot find any information on this and the doctors could not figure it out.

I had strange spots that are common when you bruise, but since I had not been in any accidents or anything they could not figure it out. They know I am anemic, but that is about all they could tell me. I am always very tired, but I am unsure if that is related. They did a few blood tests and nothing came of it. Some things came back positive, but others negative so no diagnosis was possible.

Here is a photograph of what my arm looked like.
Keep in mind it was completely under the skin, you could not feel them and they were not bumpy or itchy. My entire body was covered in them, except my face and neck.

I am horrified that they come back since it was a scary experience. Especially since no diagnosis was found.
Thank you for your time!

  • Did the Dr.'s call these "petechiae"? They sort of look like it....but...not exactly what I have seen as petechiae. What tests were neg and positive? Did this happen during pregnancy?
