I have a weird right sided pain right by my belly button for the past 3 days. I went to the walk in thinking it might be appenidicitis. The walk in doc took a blood test and said the WBC count was fine but still sent me to the ER thinking I still had appendicitis. The ER doc. did a catscan that came back fine. He was not sure what it is, and sent me home.

I still have the pain going on over 3 days now. It is localized and hurts when i bend, walk, cough, laugh, etc. The pain is fine if I'm lying or sitting still. There is no fever or diarrhea/constipation and my appetite is fine.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. There is no answer, but I can tell something isn't right.

  • I have been having the exact same pain. It started out with what felt like a pulled muscle when I woke up yesterday and then has gotten worse! Please let me know what you find out! I took Gas X thinking it might have just been gas.... but it hasn't helped all that much!

  • I have just gone through an ordeal of over a year of medical tests and several hospitalizations because of that very same first symptom. They have no idea what is wrong with me, STILL, even after surgery. My recommendations to you are to have your Gall Bladder checked out, especially if the pain gets worse after eating. Also, go for allergy testing to make sure you haven't developed any new allergies to food or your environment that could be causing this. Let your doctors know you are worried, they will come up with ideas. If all else fails, have your appendix removed anyway. They ended up doing that to me even though it was seemingly fine, just sticking to some of my intestines. Sometimes that helps. It lessened my pain, anyway.
